Fifth annual Bub-A-Que - June 13, 2009

The fifth annual Bub-A-Que is all set for Saturday, June 13, 2009. True to form, we'll begin gathering near the "Big A" in the parking lot at Angels Stadium around 3 p.m. BBQ from the Newport Rib Co. will be served at the tailgate. The Angels take on the San Diego Padres beginning at 6:05 p.m. Your $35 donation will include 1 ticket to the game, a Bub-A-Que 2009 commemorative t-shirt, food and drink.

The Foundation

The Brian Kapko Foundation was formed in 2005 to honor the memory of Brian "Bubba" Kapko. Bubba was killed August 28, 2005, in a car crash outside Denver. He was only 19.

Bubba touched the lives of everyone he met in his own way. No one will ever forget those breathtaking Bubba hugs, his one-of-a-kind awesome laugh, and his passion for everything that life offered him.

The Mission

Celebrating a short life, well-lived, by providing essential financial support to community organizations, causes and individuals about which Brian cared deeply. The Brian Kapko Foundation will make every effort to reflect the qualities and activities that Brian treasured by supporting youth sports, education and community outreach.
